Meet Chef Liz Ruberg! Liz joined the Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island as executive chef in late October. Wylder tapped Chef Liz from The Water Dog, a tap house and oyster bar in Lynchburg Virginia, that she opened three years ago with much success. Chef Liz is a Virginia native and has immersed herself in a passion for fresh-caught seafood and comfort cuisine including time-honored roasting and braising techniques. Chef Liz enjoys making an incredible burger, crab cake or roasted rockfish. She has over 20 years in the restaurant business and is focused on the culinary program at both Bar Mumbo and Tickler’s. Chef Liz loves to cater weddings and events at all the indoor and outdoor space Wylder has available at the property.
