Captain Steve Hassel
Growing up on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Captain Hassell got his love of fishing and boating from his Dad. Hassell has spent many years fishing and exploring the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding tributaries. During college, Hassell fished the streams and rivers of West Virginia. After college, Hassell followed his love of the water and passion for fishing to Key West, FL, where he spent the next 14 years chartering throughout the Florida Keys, traveling to Cuba, and the Bahamas. Hassell was featured in Florida Sportsman magazine, as well as appearing on Hook the Future television show, while fishing the Junior IGFA World Championship. Hassell returned to the Chesapeake Bay and fished several more years and traveled up and down the East Coast again from Key West to Montauk, NY. Hassell's love of fresh and salt water fishing has given him the opportunity to travel throughout the Eastern seaboard, catching a variety of fish over the years. The boat is a custom 25 Competition built in Miami. It has a 300 HP Yamaha with full Funaro Electronics and plenty of live well and fuel capacity. The Boat is fast and dry and Hassell can fish skinny or deep water, fly, jig, live or top water …whatever it takes!
See you next time!
